Designed to advance professional teaching careers, the Master of Education (MEd) programme aligns with the Sri Lanka Qualifications Framework (SLQF), offering Level 9 recognition for the 12-month option and Level 10 recognition for the 24-month option. International students may choose the programme duration that best suits their academic goals and personal schedules. Graduates of the 24-month MEd programme are eligible to progress to PhD studies upon successful completion, providing a clear pathway for advanced academic and research pursuits.
